New Alice in "Wonderland"
100% of all the people who have seen it have told me it was terrible, and the only thing i've heard positive from critics is that the art direction was great.

aka: Shitty movie.

That's exactly what I heard too. I don't think I'm going to waste my money on it.

RE: New Alice in "Wonderland"
I haven't personally seen it, however, most people think its shitty because its not like the "original" alice. What they don't realize is that this movie is based on the original book, "through the looking glass" and should be different. Also the series is more then one book, hence the open ending to a sequel. Though what I'm confused about is you saying its a shitty movie without actually seeing it.

RE: New Alice in "Wonderland"
Oh, and FWIW, the movie made $116 million...and currently has a 52% on rotten tomatoes, so not "everyone" thinks its a shitty movie.

RE: New Alice in "Wonderland"
RT's is pretty strict, 52% is pretty solid for a movie people 'hate'. I might just see it, don't know how this weekend will go.

RE: New Alice in "Wonderland"
I heard from my friend just last night that they saw it in 3D and there was hardly any 3D. He also said it was just an OK movie. Nothing spectacular. This is word of mouth though.

RE: New Alice in "Wonderland"
yeah, i thought it looked way too fruity for me so this is the type of movie i wouldn't even download. lol

i looked up fruity because i was curious what the definition of it would precisely be...

Examples of fruitiness include:

* Those old TV commercials for Mentos ("The Freshmaker!")

* The theme song to "The Neverending Story"

* The 80s band Wham! (in fact, the 80s as a whole was quite possibly the Fruitiest Decade Ever)

* Those Slim Goodbody fitness programs they made you watch in elementary school

lol omg i haven't laughed this hard in awhile...
