yeah cant wait for new payload maps... as much as i like the other it will be nice to have more then 3

imo, get the server repopulated by not messing w/the stats and leaving the server static. i understand that as dovi left, things will change initially somewhat but that was kind of a major hiccup. i know i don't like it when my regular server changes and the other quasi-regulars leave for other servers.

that was around the time when i left. i was bored of TF2 anyways at that time so it was no big deal. when i felt like playing again, the old SWG server i used to always go to was different and never full. kind of one of those critical mass moments; once you lose it, you lose it. i need 30+ in a server else i won't play there so i started playing at that "other" server which i won't mention due to my scolding by an ancient evil.

i like to come back when i see my old clanmates that i still know and play some rounds but i've kind of got a rep in the other servers i go to and i've made friends there too.

i've seen this happen over and over in my gaming career since the old TFC days 10+ years ago. my old server, right before i left the game, in Battlefield 2 did the same thing that SWG did; they changed up some settings people grew accustomed to over 3 years. the regs then left and went to the rival server and took all of the minions w/them. servers die easily.

that's one reason i say don't change the stats monthly. leave it alone. period. who gives a shit if the new guys don't feel special because they can't get a high rank in the server stats. the people who have put the hours in your server deserve to have their accomplishments recorded and not erased. it's like a record of what you've done over the hours/weeks/months. it's not a big deal at all, but, theoretically, that's how i see it. if you're going to offer stat tracking, don't erase them ever. ever.

QFT! We are doing excellent, don't start changing things again. There is no reason to change the stats.

according to hlstatsx, the server was full for 12 full hours yesterday and had people on until around 4am central. 340 new players in the past 24 hours, usually we only have ~200

That's awesome. Gonna make it harder to get the hours in though, lol.
